AdBlue ®

EURO 4 and 5 The emission control directives, layed down EU-wide with the EURO 4 emissions standard and coming into force with EURO 5 in autumn 2008, require a noticeable reduction of nitrogen oxide emission for diesel engi nes of commercial vehicles. The technical realisation is complex: A motor retrofit is necessary to reach the required standards without affecting the efficiency of the diesel engine and without increasing the exhaust of soot particles. Most truck manufacturers decide for the SCR System.

Pumps and Dispensing Kits
The vehicles are equipped with a separate tank in which the AdBlue ® additive, an urea-water-solution, is stored. AdBlue ® is injected into the exhaust gases and together with a catalytic converter nitrogen oxides are dissipated into harmless nitrogen and water.
Solutions has developped special pumps and dispensing
kits for refuelling vehicles with AdBlue ® . They are successfully tested by renowned truck manufacturers and proved satisfactory in several years of practical expe rience.

The Selective Catalytic Reduction reduces the nitrogen
and are easy to handle, especially in regard to a fre quent change of AdBlue ® containers (IBCs or smaller).
